Overview

nstallation of the new retail kitchen supply & extract ductwork was challenging because these were new systems added after completion of the original contract.

FSL worked closely with Borough/MACE to identify the best routes for the new ductwork and with the process of identifying and re-locating of other services to create the required space.

Access to install was another challenge because access to the soffit using standard access equipment was not possible. FSL again worked with Borough/MACE to solve access issues to difficult areas.

FSL were praised by the client throughout the contract for expediating ductwork through the factory. The site engineers also got special mention due to the effort & hours they put in to complete all areas before programme completion dates, which were extremely tight. FSL were also praised for the extremely high standard of workmanship.

FSL were employed to carry out post contract works on other base build ductwork systems, due to the excellent relationship built with the client during the works.
